Red chard is a green leafy vegetable and is a biennial herbaceous plant.
This salad has highly nutritious leaves, making it a popular component of healthy diets.
Red Chard not require a special temperature so can tolerate temperatures around -2 3°C adapting to all types of soil, even if it prefers a deep, fresh and well-drained soil. Needs an high level of irrigation.

This type of lettuce has spread mainly due to its tender and sweet tasteand for the bordeaux colour of the leaves whose size is from 5 to 7 centimetres.
