The young lettuce is a vegetable rich in water and mineral salts, whose leaves vary in shape and colour, from light green to intense red.
The sowing is directed and carried out in protected cultivation with preference for neutral, irrigated and well drained soils, with presence of organic substance and has a germination ranging from 3 to 7 days.
It can be used in all salads, thanks to its herbaceous taste, delicate, giving everything crispness and a right amount of fiber. It’s available either without packaging or in heat-sealed trays.
The young lettuce is presented in different forms, with tender leaves and intense red. It’s cultivated with conventional crops, through the procedural guideline “Integrated Production” and with organic method.
