Mentha is a genus of plant in the family Lamiaceae and is an aromatic herb. The leaves are arranged in opposite pairs, from oblong to lanceolate.
It grows in areas with temperate climate and it’s absent in those with tropical climate. Furthermore, it grows easily in garden or in pot.
There are about 600 varieties of mentha and is used to dress the meat and soups. Mentha has good concentration of potassium, magnesium, copper, sodium and vitamins, such as those of group A, vitamin B and C.
